The starting point
A conventional promotion communicates one price. The customer can decide whether or not to buy.
A different way to imagine tyre retail: dynamic prices, relevant events, customer engagement and a more informed buying decision.
A four-step story that shows retailers and customers how the experience changes when price becomes something to explore.
A conventional promotion communicates one price. The customer can decide whether or not to buy.
The retailer authorises a sustainable minimum price. Changes must respect predefined rules and limits.
Ticks, history and indicators help explain what changes. The demo counters represent synthetic data.
Customers choose tyres and services. The demo shows a summary, not a real order.
Illustrative checkout correction: fitting €60 − 20% (€12) = €48; four tyres €140 + €48 = €188. Any €176 total displayed in the artwork is an arithmetic inconsistency, not a real offer.
Illustrations are conceptual: prices, connected users, charts and promotions use synthetic scenarios. The summary is a non-fiscal demo receipt, not a purchase.
The retailer defines constraints and conditions. Verified events can be evaluated through engine rules. Customers see and understand what happens.
Trading-inspired elements include price charts, ticks and time-based observations. They are neither financial instruments nor gambling. Gamification should support understanding and participation, not artificial pressure.
An authorised pricing range grounded in the retailer’s real costs and commercial sustainability.
Demand, stock, supplier availability and external events—only when supported by evidence and implemented rules.
Price history, ticks and explanations, always distinguishing engine-computed outputs from simulations.
Delivery, collection, fitting and promotions brought together in a clear buying journey.
Once a retailer has established a sustainable minimum price, they can test controlled dynamic pricing without surrendering their economic safeguards.
An experience that may give shoppers reasons to engage and return—an assumption to test commercially.
The ambition is to make these tools available to multiple tyre retailers through a subscription service.
Any economic advantage over fixed-price promotions remains unproven and requires evidence on conversions, margins, costs and advertising returns.
GOMMETICK grew out of experiments in dynamic pricing and tyre purchasing experiences. Local prototypes have undergone functional tests using synthetic data, but a multi-retailer SaaS platform and production infrastructure are not yet available.
